Where is the Palace of Miracles?
The Palace of Miracles is located in Building D of Millenáris Park, on the Buda side of Budapest.

How can I get there?
Get off the tram 4 or 6 at Széna tér and walk across the parking lot of the shopping center.
It takes ten minutes of walk to reach Millenáris Park from Moszkva tér. Plan your route by clicking here.
How can I get there by car? Are there parking lots available?

There are pay parking lots along the nearby streets and there is also a parking garage under Millenáris Park.
What are the opening hours?
The Palace of Miracles is open from Monday to Friday between 9 a. m. - 5 p. m.
On Saturday - Sunday between 10 a. m. - 6 p. m.
On school holidays the weekend opening hours apply: 10 a. m. - 6 p. m.
We are closed every year on January 1, on Easter Monday, on November 1, on December 24-25-26 and on December 31.
At the end of August (or early September) our exhibition is closed for three weeks for general maintenance and new exhibit construction.

Is the exhibition wheelchair accessible?
There are ramps and an elevator to make most of our exhibition accessible with wheelchairs.
Do you have a restaurant?
There is a self-service restaurant and a refreshment bar in the building. Hot drink vending machine is located on the ground floor of the exhibition.
Can I bring my own food?
Certainly. However, we kindly ask you not to consume food in the exhibition. Both the foyer and the open air area in front of the Palace of Miracles may be suitable eating areas.
Can I take pictures in the Palace of Miracles?
We encourage you to capture the fun and experience you have at our science center.
However, for pictures and videos not intended for private use, please request for permission.
Do you have guided tours?
There are no guided tours available at the Palace of Miracles. Our professional exhbition demonstrators can be found all over the place to help you along.
Is the admission free of charge for teachers at any time?
Yes. If you have a valid teachers’ ID, you may be admitted free of charge no matter whether you come alone or accompany a group.
Can I re-enter the exhibition with the same ticket?
Upon arrival you get an armband with a bar code. This allows you to re-enter the exhibition any time on the day of purchase.
Do I have to register for the visit at the Palace of Miracles?
No registration is needed if you come alone or with friends or family.
However, we kindly ask school groups to register either on phone (+36-1-336-4044) or via email (info@csodakpalotaja.hu).
Please, make your group registration at least two weeks prior to your visit.
(At the end of the school year we expect many school groups, therefore registration one month prior to the visit is advisable in

What information should I provide upon registration?
The following information is needed upon registration:
date and time of arrival,
your city
your institute,
grade and number of your students,
accompanying teacher and his/her phone number.
If you wish to see a science show at our auditorium, please indicate that as well.
What route do you suggest for exploring your exhibition?
There are no pre-set routes. Your curiousity is the best guide at our science center.
If you don’t want to miss anything, we suggest you to follow our exploring questions (aktív link az 1.7-re). This questionnaire is often used by school groups as well.
Can I organize a birthday party at the Palace of Miracles?
Your family and friends can celebrate your birthday in our exclusive birthday room.

What is the World of Miracles in Budapest?
It is a special service we offer to school groups. We organize a whole-day guided trip in Budapest with a charter bus. The package includes visits to the Palace of Miracles and to Tropicarium, and also to other sights in Budapest.

How long does it take to visit your science center?
If you would like to explore everything at our 2000 sq. meter (21,500 sq. feet) exhibition area at least two hours are required for the visit.
How safe are the exhibits?
Our exhibits are designed and constructed following the highest safety rules. At each and every exhibits, that can be used only under supervision, our exhibition demonstrators are helping the visitors.
However, we call your attention to use our exhibits only at your own risk.
How often do you have science shows?
We have science shows at every other hour in our auditorium (5.2-re link). One science show lasts about 30 minutes. Our science show presenters are glad to answer your questions after the shows.
